Combined Tour: Dolphins and Southern Mauritius

Combine a morning dolphin outing with a visit to some of the best-known landscapes in southern Mauritius.

Your day starts with pickup at 06:00 for a boat trip from Tamarin or Black River. Spend two to three hours at sea observing dolphins in their natural habitat. Snorkelling equipment is provided with the boat outing. Encounters depend on the animals’ presence and the conditions; the operator confirms access requirements and which activities are possible.

After the boat trip, head south to Chamarel, known for the Seven Coloured Earth and its waterfall. Continue to Black River Gorges National Park, with its forest scenery and panoramic viewpoints.

Visit Alexandra Falls, surrounded by tropical greenery, then Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao), a sacred crater lake and an important Hindu pilgrimage site.
